1978 Rolex Submariner 5512 MK 2 Maxi Dial

Case: The case is very good and has just been expertly refinished at LA Watchworks and features thick prominent bevels that closely resemble the factory profile. The original fat font insert has faded to a medium blue-grey hue and the silver printing is warming to a light coppery tone. The 2 in 5512 has worn off the case from bracelet wear. The 5513 casebook is original to the watch.

Dial: Excellent and clean matte black MK 2 Maxi with two very subtle spots just below and to the right of the center post. The lume has aged to a bright clean creamy hue and the hands match perfectly.

Bracelet: New Molequin Leather strap.

Accessories: None.

Notes: The beautiful Fat Font insert surrounds an equally beautiful MK 2 Maxi.
