1966 Rolex Submariner 5513 Gilt Spider Dial

Case: The previously polished case is excellent showing sharp prominent bevels and some wear from use. The bezel insert is fading to a dark navy blue hue and shows only light wear from use.

Dial: The gilt dial is very good showing some wear for its age. There is hand drag present around the center post and there is some chipping around the edge of the dial and one over the R and E of the word "Perpetual". There is an extensive and even pattern of spidering patina across the surface of the dial. Most of the lume plots are missing some of their luminous mass. The remaining lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands match perfectly. All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate.

Bracelet: The 11 link Rolex USA rivet bracelet is excellent showing only very light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1976 date code.
