Case: The excellent case appear to be unpolished showing sharp and intact factory bevels. The case shows a semi sleeve polishing finish and showing some wear from use. The stainless bezel is also in excellent condition showing some wear from use.
Dial: The matte black MK 4 dial is excellent showing little if any wear for its age. The lume has aged to a warm sandy hue and the hands match perfectly.
Bracelet: The 12 link oyster bracelet is excellent showing only light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1978 date code.
Accessories: None.
Notes: By far the most avant-garde watch produced by Rolex. The 1655 may not have the easiest dial to read, but the radical design makes it one of the most fun watches to wear.
