1987 Rolex Explorer II 16550 Cream Rail Dial

Just when we thought that Rolex perfected paints in the 80's they bring us back to fantastic pieces like this cream dial 16550. The late 80's "rail dial" explorer 2 pieces have a tendency to fade to lush creamy hues and this one does not disappoint. The piece was serviced at Rolex in 2013. It still retains it's original thick font bezel. The only downside to this piece is a slightly more aggressive polish then we would like to see. The 12 linked oyster bracelet has light stretch from use but will give the new owner a lifetime of stable wear.
