1978 Rolex Sea-Dweller 1665 Rail Dial

Case: The recently polished case is excellent showing sharp well defined bevels and only very light wear from use. The black fat font bezel insert is also in excellent condition and is fading to a dark navy blue hue. The insert only shows light wear from use.

Dial: The matte black rail dial is excellent showing little if any wear for its age. The lume has mostly flaked off the dial with only a thin layer left. There is some chipping on the edge of the dial from 1 -6.

Bracelet: The 11 link Oyster bracelet is excellent showing light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1994 date code.

Accessories: None.

Notes: Very rare indeed. The 1665 rail dial was made by Stern, the same company that produced Comex dials.
