1969 Rolex Submariner 1680 with Tropical Mark 2 Dial

A red submariner is an anchor in any Rolex collection. There are pieces that are more rare and more expensive but that touch of red on these dials makes all red submariners special. The dial on this particular watch is even more special since it has aged to a medium light brown hue. Even the fat font period correct bezel has faded to a brown tone that further compliments the dial.The case has been polished in the past and since worn often. We have opted not to have the case restored since some pieces just look better with wear marks and character. The newer Rolex solid bracelet has light wear and makes the watch feel balanced and capable on the wrist.
