1960 Rolex Explorer 1016 Gilt Dial

Case: Excellent case that has been polished in the past and shows very light wear. The smooth stainless bezel is also excellent and shows very light wear. The caseback is stamped 1625 and it is most likely swapped at a Rolex service.

Dial: The deep glossy black dial is excellent and shows light wear for its age. The lume has turned a warm creamy hue and the hands are matching. All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate which is correct for watches of this time period.

Bracelet: The 21 link Rolex USA oval link jubilee bracelet is excellent and shows very light stretch for its age.

Accessories: None.

Notes: It would be easy to get lost in the mesmerizing glossiness of this gilt 3, 6, 9 dial.
