Case: The case has just returned from polishing showing sharp prominent bevels. The bezel insert has faded to a dark navy blue and shows only light wear.
Dial: The glossy black dial is excellent and shows some warm tropical speckling beginning to show through the top layer of enamel. The gilt printing remains bright glossy and clean. There are two small dark patches on the dial just to the left and to the right of the centerpost. The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue. The newer tritium hands were replaced some time ago and have aged to a creamy hue.
Bracelet: The 12 link USA rivet bracelet is excellent showing light to average stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1971 date code.
Accessories: Rolex Box and RSC Card.
Notes: The subtle specks of tropical patina beginning to show through the glossy black dial like the embers of a beach bonfire floating off into the night.
