1966 Rolex Daytona 6240 Silver Dial with Tropical Sub Dials

Case: The previously polished case is excellent and shows only light wear from use. The black plastic bezel insert is also in excellent condition and shows only light wear from use. There is one small crack in the insert right at the 200 index marker. The watch comes with the correct and rare mark 0 pushers.

Dial: The silver dial is excellent showing some light wear from age. There is some very subtle spotting present just to the left of the coronet. Most of the lume plots are missing some or all of their luminous mass which is common for Daytonas of this era. The remaining lume has aged to a dark sage hue and the hands have aged lighter and appear as a clean creamy hue. All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate.

Bracelet: The 13 link Oysterflex bracelet is excellent with a tight and springy action. The clasp is stamped with a 1973 date code.
