1973 Rolex Explorer II 1655 MK 1 with Papers

Case: The recently polished MK 1 case is excellent showing sharp prominent bevels and some light wear from use. The bezel insert is also in excellent condition showing a sharp well defined sunburst pattern and only very light wear from use.

Dial: The matte black MK 1 dial is excellent showing very light wear overall. There are some small and very subtle tool marks present around the centerpost. The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue. The MK 1 "Albino" hand set is also excellent the hour and 24 hour hands match the dial perfectly and the minute hand has aged slightly darker than the rest of the lume.

Bracelet: The 12 link oyster bracelet is excellent showing only light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1978 date code.

Notes: This once checks all the boxes. Sharp MK 1 case, very nice MK 1 dial, and albino MK 1 hands.
