Rolex Submariner 5512 with an Ultra Tropical Gilt Exclamation Dial

This 2 line silver gilt chapter ring 5512 is the absolute tippy top of the tropical pyramid. Not only is the surface of the dial glossy but it retains a deepness of color that no other tropical watch can touch. The case has not been polished and and even the radium pearl is original to the beautiful period correct insert. The watch comes on a sharp swiss rivet bracelet with very light wear from use. The watch comes from the original owner who was part of the armed forces stationed in Japan. It was bought on leave in Hong Kong, worn around the world on several intense sailing trips, and then placed in a desk in the 80's when the original owner purchased an advanced quartz digital watch. After laying dormant for almost 40 years it's now ready to be the crown jewel of any tropical vintage Rolex watch collection.
