1979 Rolex Sea-Dweller 1665 Comex Dial

Case: The recently polished case is excellent showing sharp prominent bevels and only extremely light wear. The bezel insert is also in excellent condition and has faded to a light silvery grey.

Dial: The Comex dial is excellent showing little if any wear for its age. The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands match perfectly.

Bracelet: The 10 link Oyster bracelet is excellent showing only light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1990 date code.

Accessories: None.

Notes Goodbye days of underwater welding and hello pool parties and viewing the ocean from the top level of a yacht. Never has a tool designed for one of the most dangerous jobs in the world retire to what I can imagine will be a world of sunshine, fast cars, and Champagne.
