1959 Rolex Submariner 5508 Gilt Dial

Case: The thick and even case has recently been polished showing sharp prominent bevels and only very light wear. The black bezel insert is also in excellent condition showing only very light wear form use. The original serial numbers are present but difficult to read. At some point in the past a serial number was re engraved.

Dial: The deep black glossy gilt chapter ring dial is excellent showing only extremely light wear for its age. The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands match perfectly. All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate.

Bracelet: The 12 link Swiss rivet Oyster bracelet is excellent showing only light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1961 code.
