1969 Rolex Red Submariner 1680 with MK 2 Meters First Dial

Case: The case is excellent and features wide prominent bevels. The "kissing 40" fat font bezel is excellent and has faded to a dark navy blue hue.
Dial: The matte black MK 2 dial is excellent and very light signs of aging. The waffled markers have aged to a warm creamy hue and the 7 and 8 o'clock markers are missing a small portion of their luminous mass. The hands match the dial perfectly. The date wheel is a newer white disk.
Bracelet: The newer 10 link oyster bracelet is very good and shows average stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1978 date code.
