Case: The thick, even, and unpolished case is excellent and with sharp and prominent factory bevels. The black bezel insert is also excellent showing light wear and a pearl that has aged to a deep amber hue.
Dial: The matte black MK 1 dial is excellent showing little if any wear. The lume plots have aged to a vibrant golden hue and the hands have aged several shades darker than the lume on the dial.
Bracelet: The 12 link oyster bracelet is excellent with little if any stretch. The clasp is stamped with a matching 1983 date code.
Accessories: Box and papers.
Notes: The 16660 along with its cousin the 16800 straddle the divide between vintage and modern Rolexes.
