Case: The excellent case showing very light wear has previously been polished and features sharp, wide, and prominent bevels. The correct early (Non 1-15 min index) bezel has faded to a matte black and all the silver printing is sharp and intact. Considering its age the bezel shows very light wear.
Dial: The glossy "Red Depth" gilt dial has aged to a beautiful marbled satin patina with bright, clean, and intact gilt printing on the text, marker surrounds, and chapter ring. The red depth rating is also clean and intact. The lume has aged to a warm chocolaty hue with some slightly lighter spots on the 7 and 10 o'clock markers. The 6 o'clock marker has aged lighter due to a higher concentration of radium which is correct for this time period. The "Big bubble" hands have aged several shades lighter than the dial. Under UV light the radium lume lights up and drops correctly for a dial from this period.
