1969 Rolex 18k YG Gold Day-Date 1807 Bark Finish with Gold Linen Dial

Case: The 18k yg case is excellent and shows light wear from use. There is a slightly more prominent scratch on the 11 o'clock lug. The 18k bezel is factory finished in a bark texture and shows very light wear.

Dial: The gold linen dial is excellent showing little if any wear. The lume plots have turned a warm creamy hue and the original hands match perfectly.

Bracelet: The 19 link President bracelet is excellent and shows average stretch for its age. The center links are factory finished in a bark texture that matches the bezel. The clasp is stamped with a matching 1969 date code.

Accessories: None

Notes: Most Day-Dates are at their best poking out from under a suit coat sleeve, but this 1807 isn't most Day-Dates. Maybe it's the linen dial, maybe its the vintage bark finishing. Either way, this 1807 dress watch looks and feels as though it would be way more in its element paired with a linen shirt, very short shorts, a pair of huaraches, and maybe some Agricole Rum.
