1978 Rolex Explorer II 1655 MK 3 Rail Dial

Case: The previously polished case shows light wear and features wide, sharp, prominent bevels. The MK3 bezel is excellent with a sharp and well-defined sunburst pattern

Dial: The matte black rail dial is excellent with some light speckling patina present. There is a small and subtle stain across the "ie" in the word "certified". The lume has aged to a warm clean sandy hue and the hands match perfectly. The white enamel on the hands is also starting to age to a creamy color and the 24 hour hand is a vibrant orange hue.

Bracelet: The 12 link oyster bracelet is excellent and shows very light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1976 date code.
