“The Golden Age ”

Case: The excellent "Spider Lug" 18k yellow gold 36mm case appears to unpolished with the original Patek hallmarks still clearly visible on the case. The case has aged to a warm rosy hue and shows only very light wear from use. The 18k yellow gold smooth bezel is also in excellent unpolished condition showing only light wear from use.

Dial: The light silver Gübelin double signed dial is excellent showing over all only very light wear for its age. There is some extremely light and subtle scratching between the center post and the 9 o'clock marker. These were difficult to photograph and are nearly invisible when viewed in person with the naked eye. The hands are also in excellent condition showing only very light wear for their age.

Bracelet: The charcoal Molequin Nubuck strap is excellent showing light wear from use. The 18K yellow Patek gold buckle is also in excellent condition showing light wear.

Accessories: Extract from the Archives.

Notes: An absolutely jaw dropping watch from 1955, that has not just survived the last 69 years, but come through with remarkable few bumps and bruises. Wears very modern on the wrist with its 36mm case size. It would look equally perfect poking out from under the cuff of a tux or dressed down with your oldest and softest t-shirt.
