1969 Rolex Submariner 1680 with MK 2 Meters First Tropical Dial

Case: Excellent case that has just returned from polishing. The bezel insert has faded to a deep brown hue and the silver numbering is warming to a creamy hue. The pearl is present and intact.

Dial: The MK 2 dial has aged with a deep brown "Tropical" patina. There is some light chipping to some of the minute indexes around the edge of the dial. The M in meters is also showing some wear from age. The lume has aged to a creamy hue. The hands have been relumed and colored to match the lume on the dial.

Bracelet: The newer 12 link oyster bracelet is in excellent condition and has very light stretch. The clasp is stamped with a 1998 date code.
