1966 Rolex DateJust 1601 Gilt Dial

Case: The 36mm case is excellent showing some light wear from use. The sharp 18k white gold fluted bezel is also in excellent condition showing only light wear from use.

Dial: The gilt doorstep dial has aged with a graduated tropical patina that transitions from dark brown to vibrant amber. The very top layer of enamel shows some variation with age with some portions of it missing. There is some specking patina that is also present on portions of the dial. The lume is mostly missing from the dial but what remains has aged to a very dark sage hue. The hands appear to be original to the watch with lume that matches the dial.

Bracelet: The 22 folded link Jubilee bracelet is excellent showing average stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1989 date code.
