1978 Rolex Double Red Sea-Dweller 1665 MK 4 Dial with Box Papers

Case: The thick and even case has been lightly polished in the past but still shows wide prominent bevels that appear to be the factory profile.
Dial: The matte black "double red" dial is excellent showing little if any wear for its age. The lume has aged to a vibrant goldenrod hue and the original factory hands have aged several shades lighter than the dial and appear as a warm creamy hue.
Bracelet: The 11 link Oyster bracelet is excellent showing only very light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1985 date code.
Accessories: Papers.
Notes: An absolute stunner. The dial looks to be immaculate both under a loup and my 90mm macro lens. The case has only the slightest indications of ever seeing a polishing wheel. And the hands though lighter than the vibrant gold of the dial are original and immaculate.
