2001 Rolex 18K WG Day-Date 118239 Silver Tropical Dial with Box & Papers

Case: The 18K white gold case is excellent, showing only very light wear from use. The sharp 18K white gold fluted bezel is also in excellent condition, showing only very light wear from use.

Dial: The silver dial is excellent and is aging with a light gold tropical patina across its surface. The hands are also in excellent condition and appear to be original to the watch.

Bracelet: The 22-link 18K white gold president bracelet is excellent, showing only very light stretch for its age.

Notes: Hopefully this dial is a "Canary in the coal mine" indicator that other dials from this era will begin to age with a tropical patina, as did the dials from eras before it.
