Case: The thick even case is excellent showing a semi sleeve polished finish and some wear from use. The smooth stainless bezel is also in excellent condition and shows some light wear from use.

Dial: The blue-grey dial is excellent showing no visible wear. The lume has aged to a clean creamy hue and the hands match perfectly.

Bracelet: The 20 link Jubilee bracelet is excellent showing light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 2009 date code.

Notes: When I first decided I wanted to learn to sail in the San Francisco bay it was to visions of warm sunny days, fair and gentle winds filling the sails, and water lapping lazily on the hull as I poured wine for my guests. 6 months later I found myself hiked out on the bow of a close-hauled J24, soaked to my bones with teeth chattering. When I looked to where the Golden Gate Bridge should have been, all I saw instead was a giant ominous fog bank the exact color of this dial. It's the same deep blue-grey of that fog that rolls through the gate and over San Francisco every summer afternoon. The same fog that has sailors scrambling for their reef points, tourists running to buy an entirely new (and much warmer) vacation wardrobe, and park-goers chasing napkins, blankets, and chairs across the park.
