1991 Rolex 18K YG Submariner 16618 Blue Lapis Dial

Case: The thick and even 18k yellow gold case is excellent showing sharp prominent bevels and some wear from use. The blue bezel insert is also in excellent condition showing only light wear from use.

Dial: The deep blue lapis dial is excellent with flecks of gold pyrite distributed evenly throughout the piece of stone. The dial is free of chips and cracks. The tritium lume splits have aged to a clean creamy hue and the hands match perfectly.

Bracelet: The 10 link 18K yellow gold Oyster bracelet is excellent showing no perceivable stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1993 date code.

Notes: Made in extremely small quantities in the early 90's, the Lapis dial 16618s are one of the rares Submariner variations out there.
