1989 Rolex Explorer 1016 "L Serial"

Case: The thick and even case is excellent and shows a bright sleeve polished finish. The case shows only light wear for its age. The smooth stainless bezel is also in excellent condition and shows only very light wear.

Dial: The matte black dial is excellent showing no visible wear. The lume has aged to a clean creamy hue and the hands match perfectly.

Bracelet: The 12 link oyster bracelet is excellent and shows only very light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a matching 1989 date code.

Accessories: None.

Notes: 1989 marked the final year of the 1016 Explorer's remarkably long production run.
