1987 Rolex GMT 16760 Fat Lady

Case: The unpolished case retains its sharp factory bevels while showing only light wear from use. The black and reb bezel has very light wear and is lightly faded.

Dial: Excellent glossy black dial that is beginning to age to a matte finish which is typical of 16760 from this era. The lume has turned a beautiful amber hue. The GMT and the second hand have been color-matched to the rest of the lume.

Bracelet: The 13 link 78360 oyster bracelet has very light stretch and is attached to the watch with 580 end links. The clasp is stamped with a matching 1987 date code.

Notes: Sporting Submariner like portions the 16760 is often referred to as the "Fat Lady" or the "Sophia Loren" and was the very first of the GMT-Master IIs. This particular watch is a beautiful example with a thick unpolished case that lives up to either of its nicknames.
