Case: The excellent case has recently been polished, showing sharp, prominent bevels and only very light wear overall. There is one scratch on the side of the 5 o'clock lug. The bezel is also in excellent, freshly polished condition, showing a sharp, well-defined sunburst finish.
Dial: The matte black MK 5 dial is excellent, showing little if any wear for its age. The lume has aged to a warm, creamy hue, and the hands match perfectly.
Bracelet: The 12-link oyster bracelet is in excellent condition, showing only light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1983 date code.
Accessories: None.
Notes: By far the most avant-garde watch produced by Rolex. The 1655 may not have the easiest dial to read, but the radical design makes it one of the most fun watches to wear.
