1983 Rolex Submariner 16800 Matte Dial

Case: The case has just returned from polishing and features sharp and prominent bevels. The black bezel insert is excellent and shows some wear from age.

Dial: The matte black dial is excellent showing little if any wear. The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands match perfectly. The watch face is starting to turn to a dark brown tone under intense light.

Bracelet: Excellent 10 link oyster bracelet showing only very light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1984 date code.

Accessories: None.

Notes: The matte dial 16800 is a striking example of a Submariner with one foot in the past and one foot in the future.
