1983 Rolex Submariner 16800 Matte Dial

Case: The excellent case hat shows very light wear from use. The bezel insert has faded to a glossy dark navy blue hue. The pearl is present and has aged to a dark sandy hue.
Dial: The matte black dial is excellent and shows little to no degradation. The lume plots have aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands are matching.
Bracelet: The 11 link oyster bracelet is excellent and shows very light stretch. The clasp is stamped with a matching 1983 date code.
Accessories: None.
Notes: The matte dial 16800 is a striking example of a watch with one foot in the past and one foot in the future.
