1983 Rolex Explorer II 1655 MK 5 Dial with Papers

Case: The thick and even case is excellent showing sharp prominent bevels and only light wear from use. The stainless MK 4 bezels also in excellent condition showing a sharp well defined sunburst finish and only light wear from use.

Dial: The matte black MK 5 is excellent showing only light wear for its age. There is a shallow and subtle scratch on the dial that runs from the 9 o'clock marker to the C in "Chronometer". The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands match perfectly.

Bracelet: The 12 link Oyster bracelet is excellent showing only light stretch for its age. There is an engraving that reads "L.S.G" on the clasp. The clasp is stamped with a matching 1983 date code.
