1982 Rolex Explorer II 1655 MK V Albino Dial

Case: Very good case that has previously been polished and shows some wear from use. The stainless MK 5 bezel is in excellent condition and shows some wear from use.

Dial: The matte black MK 5 albino dial is excellent with some shallow subtle scratches present. The lume has aged to a very light creamy hue and the hands are matching. The orange 24 hour hand has faded to a white creamy hue that matches the color of the lume.

Bracelet: The 11 link oyster bracelet is in excellent condition and shows average stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with 1984 date code.

Accessories: None.

Notes: The Albino explorer is special in that it's desired patina is the opposite of almost every other vintage Rolex we know and love. The rich warm hues of aging tritium are not found here. This rare and unique dial holds a tonality very close to its factory specs. In addition, the GMT hand which was once bright luminescent orange has now faded to a ghostly white version of its former self giving the watch a look, unlike any other vintage Rolex.
