1981 Rolex Explorer II 1655 MK 5 Dial

Case: The previously polished case is excellent showing sharp prominent bevels and some light wear from use. The bezel is also in excellent condition showing a sharp and well defined sunburst finish.
Dial: The matte black MK 5 dial is excellent showing little if any for its age. The lume has aged to a warm goldenrod hue and the hands match perfectly.
Bracelet: The 12 link Oyster bracelet is excellent and shows light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a matching 1981 date code.
Accessories: Service Papers.
Notes: By far the most avant-garde watch produced by Rolex. The 1655 may not have the easiest dial to read, but the radical design makes it one of the most fun watches to wear.
