Case: The unpolished case is excellent with the factory bevels still intact. The case shows a semi sleeve polished finish and shows some wear consistent with its age. The black bezel insert is also in excellent condition and shows only light wear for its age. The original pearl has aged to a warm sandy hue.
Dial: The matte black dial is excellent and shows little if any wear. The lume has aged to a warm clean creamy hue and the hands match perfectly.
Bracelet: The 10 link oyster bracelet is excellent and shows only very light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1995 date code.
Accessories: None.
Notes: With an unpolished case, immaculate dial, and perfectly aged lume, this transitional Submariner is a spectacular example of an early 16800. Having all the good looks of its vintage counterparts and all the durability of its modern ones this Sub is about as good as it gets.
