Case: The case has just been expertly refinished by LA Watchworks and features sharp prominent bevels that closely mimic the factory profile. The lightly faded two-tone bezel insert is also in excellent condition and shows very light wear.
Dial: The rich brown nipple dial shows very light wear from age. The lume has aged to a clean creamy hue and the hands match perfectly.
Bracelet: The 12 link two-tone oyster bracelet is excellent and has light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a matching 1979 date code.
Accessories: None.
Notes: Though commonly referred to as the "Rootbeer". To me the two-tone GMT Master has always seemed more akin to a boilermaker; The classic old school drink order that consists of a shot of whiskey and a glass of beer. Seems more fitting for this classic old school watch.
