1979 Rolex Sea-Dweller 1665 Rail Dial

Case: The excellent case has just returned from polishing and shows sharp prominent bevels. The bezel has faded to a graduated matte grey tone and shows light wear from use.

Dial: The matte black rail dial is very good showing light wear overall. The edge of the dial shows some light chipping. The lume appears to have been washed but what remains has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands have been relumed and color matched to the dial.

Bracelet: The 10 link Oyster bracelet is excellent showing light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1980 date code.

Notes: Very rare indeed. The 1665 rail dial was made by Stern, the same company that produced Comex dials.
