Case: The thick, sharp, and even case has been lightly buffed by Rolex's restoration department and shows only very light wear. The stainless bezel has also been lightly buffed by Rolex's restoration department, and shows only very light wear.

Dial: The silver dial is excellent, showing little if any wear for its age. The lume has aged to a clean creamy hue, and the hands match perfectly. Most of the lume plots are missing some of their luminous mass, which is common for Daytonas of this era.

Bracelet: The 12-link Oyster bracelet is excellent, showing no perceivable stretch. The clasp is stamped with a 1983 date code.
