Case: The unpolished 18K yellow gold is excellent, showing prominent factory bevels and some light wear from use. The bezel insert has faded to a plum hue, showing only very light wear from use.
Dial: The nipple dial has aged with an extensive tropical magma patina, showing only very light wear aside from the patina. The lume has aged to a clean creamy hue, and the hands match perfectly.
Bracelet: The 19-link 18K yellow gold Jubilee bracelet is excellent, showing only light stretch for its age. The bracelet has fixed links and is adjustable at the clasp; it will fit a wrist between 6.75"/17.2cm to 7.5"/19.1cm. The clasp is stamped with a matching 1979 date code.
Accessories: None.
Notes: The feeling evoked from a solid gold GMT-Master is something special. It's not the watch you take diving, mountaineering, or cave diving. Not that you couldn't, but there are better tools for those jobs. The Gold GMT works best on the first day of your vacation, having a late breakfast on a sunny morning, with the bezel set squarely to local time because you couldn't care less what time it is back home.
