1978 Rolex Explorer II 1655 MK 4 Dial

Case: The thick and even case has recently been polished, showing wide, sharp, prominent bevels and only very light wear. The freshly polished stainless bezel is also in excellent condition, showing a sharp well well-defined sunburst finish and deep, sharp index engravings.

Dial: The matte black MK 5 dial is excellent, showing little, if any, wear for its age. The lume has aged to a warm, vibrant, creamy hue, and the hands match perfectly.

Bracelet: The 11-link flip-lock bracelet is excellent, showing only very light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1978 date code.
