1975 Rolex Explorer II 1655 MK 2 Dial with Service Papers

Case: The recently polished case is excellent and shows some light wear from use. The stainless bezel is also in excellent condition with a sharp intact sunburst finish and shows only light wear from use.

Dial: The matte black dial is in excellent condition and shows overall very light wear. There is a small and subtle portion of hand drag running through and extending a little past the 12 o'clock marker. The 7.5 min square marker is also missing its luminous mass. The rest of the lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands match perfectly.

Bracelet: The 12 link Oyster bracelet is excellent showing only very light stretch. The clasp is stamped with a 2010 date code.

Accessories: Rolex Service Papers.

Notes: By far the most avant-garde design of all the vintage Rolex watches. The 1655 may not have the easiest dial to read, but the radical design makes it one of the most fun watches to wear.
