1975 Rolex Explorer 1655 with Box and Papers

Case: The previously polished case is excellent and features wide prominent bevels. The case has a semi sleeve polished finish and shows only light wear for its age. The MK 3 bezel is also in excellent condition with an intact and well-defined sunburst finish that shows only light wear for its age.

Dial: The matte black MK 2 dial is excellent and shows only very light wear for its age. There is some very subtle staining present at the very edge of the dial between the 11 and 12 o'clock lume plots. The lume has aged to a warm clean creamy hue and the hands match perfectly.

Bracelet: The 12 folded link ouster bracelet is excellent and shows only light stretch for its age.

Accessories: Box and Papers.

Notes: By far the most avant-garde watch produced by Rolex. The 1655 may not have the easiest dial to read, but the radical design makes it one of the most fun watches to wear.
