1973 Rolex GMT-Master 1675

Case: Excellent case that has just returned from polishing with sharp prominent bevels. The uniformly faded blue and red bezel insert shows light wear.

Dial: The matte black dial is incredibly clean with no visible signs of wear. The lume has aged to a vibrant yellow hue and the original hands match perfectly.

Bracelet: The 12 link oyster bracelet is excellent and shows light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1983 date code.

Accessories: None.

Notes: I love that the passing of time, the very reason for which these watches are created is also the mechanism that makes certain vintage pieces so special. Sometimes heavy handed, sometimes with a light touch. Time or at least our perception of it strips away the newness and replaces it with something slightly less ordered but infinitely more beautiful.
