1973 Rolex Explorer II 1655 MK 1 Straight Hand

Case: The recently polished case is excellent showing sharp prominent bevels and only light wear from use. The stainless bezel is also in excellent condition and shows only light wear from use

Dial: The matte black MK 1 dial is excellent showing light wear for its age. The lume has aged to a sandy hue and the 11 and 11.5 o'clock markers have been relumed at some point.

Bracelet:

Excellent 10 link swiss rivet bracelet with light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1964 date code.

Accessories: None.

Notes: By far the most avant-garde watch produced by Rolex. The 1655 may not have the easiest dial to read, but the radical design makes it one of the most fun watches to wear.
