Case: The thick and even case is unpolished and appears to be unworn. There is some very light wear around the lug holes of the 5 and 7 o'clock lugs. The 18k white gold fluted bezel is near mint showing no visible wear. The original factory sticker is still in place on the caseback.
Dial: The silver dial is near mint showing no visible wear. The lume has aged to a warm vibrant goldenrod hue and the hands have aged just slightly lighter than the dial.
Bracelet: The 22 link jubilee bracelet is excellent showing only very light stretch for its age. The stiffness of the clasp indicates it has been opened and closed only a few times over the years. The clasp is stamped with a matching date code.
Accessories: Papers.
Notes: While most of the vintage watches we sell would certainly have a story or two to tell if they could, this particular watch on the other hand definitely does not. It has most likely been sitting in the back of a shop, corner of a sock draw, or safety deposit box for nearly the last half-century, opening up the rare opportunity for its next owner to start telling the tale of this 48 year old watch.
