“MK 1 Case”
Case: The excellent MK 1 case has previously been polished and shows sharp prominent bevels and only light wear from use. The stainless bezel is also in excellent condition and retains a sharp and well defined sunburst finish.
Dial: The newer MK 6 service dial is excellent showing little if any wear. The lume has aged to a light creamy hue and the hands have aged several shades warmer than the dial.
Bracelet: The newer 12 link Oyster bracelet is excellent showing only light stretch for its age.
Accessories: None.
Notes: The thin almost pointed crown guards denote the early MK 1 Explorer 2 cases. Though this one was fitted with a new dial sometime in the past, that dial has remained in nearly flawless condition with lume that has already begun to turn creamy.
