1972 Rolex Explorer II 1655 MK 1 Straight Hand

Case: The recently polished case is excellent showing sharp and well defined bevels. The Mark 1 stainless bezel is also in excellent condition showing a sharp well defined sunburst finish.

Dial: The matte black Mk1 dial is excellent showing overall light wear for its age. There is a small and subtle indentation on the dial just above and to the right of the centerpost. There is also a chip to the 4.5 marker at the edge of the dial. The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands match perfectly.

Bracelet: The 12 link USA rivet bracelet is excellent showing average stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1971 date code.
