1971 Rolex Explorer II 1655 MK 1 Straight Hand

Case: Excellent MK1 case that has recently been polished and features sharp prominent bevels. The MK 1 bezel is excellent with a sharp and well defined sunburst finish.

Dial: The matte black dial is excellent and shows very very light wear overall. There is a small speck on top of the second S in Swiss at the very bottom edge of the dial. The lume has aged to a rich pumpkin patina and the MK1 straight second handset matches perfectly.

Bracelet: Excellent 13 folded link Oyster bracelet with very light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a matching 1971 date code.
