1971 Rolex 18K YG Day-Date 1803 Grey Rose Dial

Case: The thick and even 18k yellow gold case is excellent showing only light wear form use. The sharp 18k yellow gold fluted bezel is also in excellent condition showing only light wear form use.

Dial: The rosy-grey-champagne dial sometimes referred to as "London Fog" is excellent showing little if any wear from use. The "gold brick" markers have aged to a warm rosy patina. The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands match perfectly.

Bracelet: The brown alligator strap is excellent showing some light wear from use. The 18K patinaed yellow gold Rolex buckle is also in excellent condition.

Accessories: None.

Notes: I rarely have trouble describing things anymore but this one jammed me up. The tonality of the dial is as beautiful as it is vague. With tones shifting from cool to warm depending on the light.
