1970 Rolex 18K YG DateJust 1601 Havana Dial

Case: The thick and even 18k yellow gold case is excellent showing a bright sleeve polished finish and only light wear from use. The 18k yellow gold bezel is very sharp showing only light wear from use.

Dial: The caramel brown "Havana" Dial is excellent showing only very very light wear for its age. The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands match perfectly. Al lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate.

Bracelet: The 12 link 18k yellow gold Swiss rivet Oyster bracelet is excellent showing some light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1972 date code.

Notes: The caramel brown of the dial and the warm slightly rosy gold tones of the case play off each other in such a remarkably beautiful manner, it's almost a shame this 1601 variation is such a rarity.
