Case: The previously polished case is excellent and show overall light wear from use. There is a spot of slightly more wear at the very tip of the 5 o'clock lug. The smooth stainless bezel is also excellent and shows only light wear for its age.
Dial: The matte black dial is excellent and shows only light wear from use. The lume has aged to a warm vibrant golden hue and the hands have aged slightly warmer than the dial. The orginal crystal is developing a super cool crazing that you can see in the crystal at a sharp angle. This cracking is the normal wear that most acrylic crystals develop over time.
Bracelet: Excellent 12 folded link Oyster bracelet with light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1970 date code.
Accessories: The original papers note that this 1016 was sold at an APO in 1971 to Private First Class David.
